More than a Business, an Underwater Legacy
At Mundaca Divers, we don't just offer a tour; we share with you a life dedicated to the sea. We are the story, the experience, and the heart of diving in Isla Mujeres, forged over more than 35 years of exploration and respect for the ocean.

From Gulf Platforms to the Dream of the Caribbean
Our story begins in Veracruz, with our founder working as a commercial diver on the tough platforms of the Gulf of Mexico. It was there, in those industrial depths, where a vision was born: to create something different. A recreational diving business in the Caribbean that was not just about diving, but about connecting, exploring with purpose, and sharing the immense beauty of the underwater world in a personal and authentic way. He left everything behind to pursue that dream, starting alone, armed only with determination.

We were among the first to explore and show the riches of the Garrafón area, laying the foundations for the snorkeling and diving tourism known today on the island.
Pioneer in Garrafón

We had the honor of collaborating with the legendary Ramón Bravo Prieto to place the Cross of the Bay and later worked together with cooperatives and SEMARNAT to establish the iconic Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA), a project that fused art with marine conservation.
